Deliver and refine initial high-priority models for product usage and financial reporting. Work closely with the Data Engineer to align on the new infrastructure roadmap. By 6 months: Build a semantic layer to standardize KPIs across the company. Lay the groundwork for AI-readiness and enable advanced natural language querying. After 1 year: Take full ownership of the company’s data modeling architecture. Ensure it supports AI and machine learning applications. Advise department heads by using data to shape long-term growth and forecasting strategies, while maintaining a governed data environment that gives business users confidence to explore data on their own. Key Responsibilities Data Product Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of internal data products. Work with stakeholders to turn business questions into technical solutions, choosing the right tools to keep reporting scalable and accessible. Analytics Engineering: Design, build, and maintain core data models using dbt Labs.
