Essential Skills and QualificationsA minimum of 6 years of experience in data-oriented or quantitative roles, particularly in D2C or B2C environments such as Marketplaces, ECommerce, OmniCommerce, or Retail Marketing Analytics. Ability to tackle complex challenges, distilling multiple options into optimal solutions, and take ownership of ambiguous business issues. Propose innovative solutions beyond conventional practices. Strong influencing skills across your team, cross-functional teams, and senior stakeholders. Proficient in data storytelling and skilled at creating intuitive, impactful dashboards using tools like PowerBI or Tableau. Fluent in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages, and comfortable working with large datasets and ETL processes.

The Analytics team is dedicated to leveraging data and experimentation to propel product innovation forward. We enjoy creating innovative products that allow us to test and iterate in order to discover what truly resonates with our customers. With multiple product launches each week, our focus is on refining models and conducting numerous experiments weekly! We seek experienced data scientists to establish a center of data excellence for Product & Experimentation across various tech sectors. Your responsibility will be to promote a data-driven approach to product development, design controlled experiments, and objectively assess outcomes, all while collaborating with stakeholders to assess innovative product and business initiatives!

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Analytics, you will collaborate closely with various teams within the business lines (including Product, Business, Engineering, Design, and Data Science) to understand data needs, identify key performance indicators, and deliver data-driven insights. Additionally, you will partner with stakeholders to assess the viability of new business/product concepts and provide well-informed recommendations.

This position is based in Petaling Jaya and requires onsite presence.
