Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must hold an advanced degree in Applied Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Operations Research (Master’s degree required). Additionally, you should have at least 1 year of experience in advanced analytics, model building, statistical modeling, optimization, and machine learning algorithms, including both supervised and unsupervised learning, boosting, and ensemble methods. You will be expected to author predictive algorithms for data aggregation, normalization, and processing, synthesizing actionable insights from complex datasets. Technical proficiency in languages and tools such as Python (with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn), R, Matlab, Spotfire, and Tableau is crucial. Familiarity with SQL, noSQL, Java, C, SAS, and machine learning suites like Mahout, Weka, and RapidMiner is also required. Experience with cloud computing and Hadoop (MapReduce, PIG, HIVE) and third-party API integration will be an added advantage.
