The Core Analytics Team is a centralized unit focused on providing data-driven insights that foster business and product success. We collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences while maximizing business value.
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Core Analytics team, specializing in Customer Intelligence within the broader Planning & Optimization group. Your role will involve answering critical business questions from senior leaders with clear, actionable insights. You’ll engage in customer analytics that directly influence Roku’s growth in engagement, retention, and monetization across the streaming ecosystem, working with cross-functional leaders and owning significant inquiries.
This position sits at the nexus of analytics and business strategy. We need someone who can translate customer behaviors into metrics and narratives that help shape our customer strategy and measure the effects of initiatives on customer actions. You’ll transform vague stakeholder needs into compelling analytical narratives and executive-ready presentations. A significant aspect of this role involves assessing incremental impact and discerning genuine effects from noise. Familiarity with causal inference and experimentation is valuable; deep specialization is a bonus but not mandatory.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary range is $157,000 to $187,000.
