Senior Data Scientist Consultant, SPI – Agent Platform Team
Summary
The Agent Platform Team, part of AI Enablement at 84.51°, oversees the essential platforms driving data science and AI initiatives across the organization. This position is within the SPI (Science Platform Innovation) squad and focuses on the Databricks environment and its advancing AI/ML functionalities.
You will act as a liaison between the engineers developing our Databricks platform and the data scientists utilizing it daily. Your role is not to build models for end clients but to ensure the platform functions optimally, facilitating the smooth implementation of new features, documenting processes, and relaying user feedback to the platform team to guide future enhancements.
Gain in-depth knowledge of Databricks’ infrastructure and its AI-powered features, including Genie Code, Genie Spaces, Agent Bricks, MLflow, and more, along with the Unity Catalog governance framework. You will assess new Databricks capabilities and relevant third-party integrations from an end-user perspective, document your insights, and assist the team in determining which features to adopt and how to implement them efficiently.
This small, collaborative squad thrives on teamwork, with everyone contributing across various tasks. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as priorities may shift in alignment with the evolving Databricks roadmap. Success in this role hinges on your ability to navigate ambiguity, exercise sound judgment in prioritizing tasks, and influence outcomes without direct authority.
