Join Our Innovative Data Science Team
As a pivotal member of the data science team at Fabulous, you will collaborate across various departments to drive data-informed decisions that enhance our business operations in areas such as Product Growth, User Acquisition, and Finance.
The team focuses on three primary data domains:
- Data Project Management: We prioritize and manage requests based on business needs, refining requirements with stakeholders while ensuring effective communication and feedback loops.
- Applied Analytics & Data Science: We employ a data exploration approach, balancing simplicity and complexity to define agile analytics strategies. Every new project begins with a robust Data Science component during its MVP phase.
- Analytics Engineering: We engage in data modeling and transformations, developing and scaling our analytics pipelines. Following MVP validation, we iteratively improve implementations within our dbt project, focusing on testing and data observability.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
- Engage in high-priority projects that enhance Fabulous' data-driven culture through collaboration with business teams, aiming for measurable impacts such as metric accuracy improvement, exploration of new growth opportunities, and development of well-tested analytics pipelines.
- Contribute to our codebase by building, testing, and maintaining robust analytics pipelines using SQL and dbt while managing technical debt and enhancing engineering practices.
- Gradually assume ownership of specific team responsibilities, becoming a key contact for various stakeholders.
Our team operates in an agile environment, delivering impactful results within three-week iterations. We utilize a modern cloud-based data stack (Fivetran, Big Query, dbt, Amplitude, Metabase, Looker Studio) and are eager to welcome a well-rounded Senior Data Scientist who can seamlessly integrate into our agile framework and deliver value promptly.
