We work closely with Fleet, Infrastructure, and AI Platform teams to enhance cluster reliability, boost effective utilization (MFU), minimize MTTR, and safeguard uptime and revenue.About the role:As a Data Scientist, you will create sophisticated statistical models and machine learning strategies to maximize GPU utilization, optimize workload scheduling, and enhance infrastructure efficiency. You will design experiments, analyze extensive system telemetry data, and prototype predictive and optimization algorithms that directly influence production systems. This position marries rigorous research with tangible impact, transforming complex infrastructure data into quantifiable enhancements in performance and cost. You will work collaboratively across teams to convert research insights into applicable solutions.Who You Are:MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field8+ years (or equivalent research experience) in implementing statistical modeling or machine learning on large-scale datasetsStrong proficiency in Python and scientific computing libraries (NumPy, pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow)Proven experience designing and analyzing controlled experiments (A/B testing, causal inference, hypothesis testing)
