Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess 3 to 5 years of expertise with Windows Server operating systems (2012 – 2019) and 5 to 10 years of experience supporting Windows Desktop/Server systems. Proficiency in implementing and maintaining Windows Desktop/VDI images and supporting VMware Horizon View App Volumes in a VDI environment is essential. Candidates should also have extensive experience with Dell Desktop hardware, along with working knowledge of HP server hardware and Office 365 user management. A solid understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, Routing, and SMTP concepts is required. Microsoft certifications (MCITP, MCSE, MOUS, VCP) are a strong advantage, with some expected to be acquired within the first year at IBKR.

Join our team as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer (L2) at Interactive Brokers, where you will play a critical role in providing Level 2 support for end users. This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to VMware VDI systems and Windows desktops. Collaborating with senior team members, you'll also support VMware Windows Server infrastructure and be responsible for delivering 1st and 2nd level End User Computing (EUC) support, including application installations for our regional employees. Additionally, you will contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes for VMware and Windows-related challenges.
