Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts on large-scale client deployment projects.
- Oversee product engineering initiatives to enhance our service offerings.
- Provide expert AWS guidance to pre-sales architects and teams.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and continual maintenance of operating systems and AWS services.
- Develop and maintain custom client machine images alongside centralized configuration management to facilitate rapid and repeatable builds with auto-scaling capabilities.
- Ensure high availability through proactive monitoring and responses.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges effectively.
- Regularly communicate updates on project statuses and issues to clients and partners.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve problems in accordance with the problem management process.
- Proactively suggest improvements in processes and automation through our continuous improvement Kanban board.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 4th line support for Ensono’s AWS clientele.
- Keep abreast of the latest AWS services and developments.
- Act as a technical escalation point for team members.
- Step in as team leader during managerial absences.
