CGS is committed to fostering a supportive workplace where employees can advance their careers through a variety of professional development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:- Design comprehensive systems to fulfill specified requirements.- Collaborate with government personnel and supervisors to refine functional and design requirements, programming specifications, data validation standards, and data capture methods.- Convert functional requirements into suitable system designs for the development of relevant software applications.- Conduct software testing, including the preparation and utilization of sample data for test scenarios.- Present findings, recommendations, and specifications through formal reports and oral presentations.- Generate necessary system documentation as outlined in task orders.- Engage with government and contractor staff to ensure clarity on task objectives, identify issues, and propose enhancements.- Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior personnel.- Design and develop SQL Server/Oracle database frameworks and processes.- Collaborate closely with fellow programmers and database administrators.- Code web applications and work alongside quality assurance teams to resolve identified issues.- Establish and implement appropriate security access procedures.- Develop mobile applications for Android or iOS platforms.- Transition several large classic ASP applications to ASP.NET technology.- Perform unit testing for each module based on defined test specifications.- Update program and test case specifications to rectify any discrepancies.- Offer insights on user interfaces, essential business rules, and functionalities.
