Join our dynamic team as a Senior Electrical Designer, where you will spearhead the design and development of electrical systems for intricate projects. Your expertise will ensure technical excellence and adherence to industry standards and regulations. This role encompasses the preparation and meticulous review of detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation, as well as collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate electrical solutions into comprehensive project designs.
As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will provide invaluable guidance and mentorship to junior designers, ensuring the accuracy and quality of their work while fostering their professional growth. You will also collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, actively participating in meetings to offer expert insights on design challenges and solutions.
Your additional responsibilities will include enhancing and maintaining departmental design standards, processes, and templates, as well as contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives. You will ensure that all designs align with client requirements, project objectives, and applicable codes, delivering innovative and reliable electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and revise electrical drawings and design packages for projects ranging from small to large scale under the guidance of Electrical engineers.
Coordinate with other disciplines to guarantee that drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project specifications.
Support electrical engineers in equipment selection, layout development, and documentation for electrical design.
Assist in drafting specifications, schedules, and technical documentation for electrical and control systems.
Engage in project and coordination meetings, offering drafting and design insights as needed.
Contribute to the enhancement of drafting standards, templates, and overall drawing quality within the Electrical team.
Proven experience with REVIT and Infrastructure Projects (e.g., Airports, Traffic Signals, or Highway Lighting) is essential.
