The Opportunity
Join our passionate international team of design engineers and contribute to the creation of high-quality, sustainable, and innovative data centre structures. You will be engaged in medium to large-scale mission-critical projects, overseeing all design stages from concept to construction supervision and handover.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre at Arup, you will:
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of architects, advisors, and engineers.
Take the lead in designing electrical systems (MV, LV, ELV) for medium to large-scale Mission Critical projects, guiding them through all design phases from Concept to Construction Supervision and Handover.
Prepare and review design deliverables, ensuring quality and compliance.
Lead projects, working closely with data center clients to provide tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
Effectively present technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences, showcasing a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders, including other disciplines, authorities, public service providers, and international clients.
Link solutions and ideas to broader project and client objectives.
Provide timely feedback and recognition to team members.
Mentor and supervise junior staff, collaborating with skilled multi-disciplinary teams to maximize our collective expertise at local, regional, and global levels.
