Externally, you will work alongside utility engineers across various service territories to design interconnection facilities and system modifications that facilitate the connection of distributed generators while ensuring the distribution system's safe and reliable operation.This position is available at our offices in Lowell, MA; Boston, MA; Troy, NY; or Chicago, IL. We promote in-person collaboration in a hybrid work environment, where employees are expected to work in the office at least two days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and have the flexibility to work from home or the office on other days.The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in power systems, coupled with a deep understanding of how distributed generation interacts with existing distribution and sub-transmission systems.
