Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a central role in shaping the next generation of AR systems at Red 6. This position leads the full electrical hardware development cycle, from gathering requirements and initial design through to testing, integration, and manufacturing. The work centers on improving efficiency and quality by refining design processes and methodologies.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic components for advanced, high-performance hardware systems.
- Oversee all stages of the electrical hardware lifecycle: requirements, design, testing, integration, and manufacturing.
- Analyze and compare design methodologies, using data to guide decisions.
- Review electrical requirements to confirm feasibility within project timelines and budgets.
- Configure programmable logic devices using high-level programming languages.
- Analyze equipment, gather operational data, conduct experimental testing, and evaluate results.
- Select components and equipment after reviewing specifications and reliability data.
- Identify component characteristics that could impact system performance and long-term reliability.
- Support project proposals and budget estimates to help meet program goals.
