Position Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineering Technician plays a pivotal role in providing advanced technical support to our electrical engineering team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems. This position encompasses complex troubleshooting, prototype development/EDVT, system integration, and mentoring of junior technicians. The Senior EE Technician ensures that engineering projects conform to technical specifications, quality standards, and established timelines.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist electrical engineers in the design, development, and validation of electrical and electronic systems.
· Construct, modify, and troubleshoot prototypes, wiring harnesses, and circuit boards.
· Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
· Design and uphold test setups, automated test systems, and validation protocols.
· Perform electrical testing and analyze data using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
· Examine schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings for accurate implementation.
· Document test procedures, engineering modifications, and technical results.
· Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to facilitate product development.
· Mentor junior technicians and promote best practices within the laboratory.
