Key Responsibilities:Lead the development, documentation, and execution of testing protocols for electrical subsystems and systems. Manage the integration of hardware and software for production quantum computers. Contribute to the design of test infrastructure supporting all testing aspects. Resolve technical challenges through established processes such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Lessons Learned, and Failure Mode Effects Analysis. Engage in hands-on assembly, testing, or system integration activities as needed. Participate in Design for Manufacturing and Test reviews. Ideal Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of experience with complex hardware/software systems. Proven experience in electrical system design and validation. Expertise in conducting integration testing on sophisticated systems. Proficiency in Python scripting. Experience in data analysis. Ability to develop requirements-based testing solutions.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing comprehensive testing strategies to support various phases of hardware testing at IonQ. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify challenges and implement scalable solutions. Your expertise in developing requirements-based test architectures for intricate hardware systems, including design for test and manufacturing, will be crucial. Travel may be required for customer deployments.
