We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer, Manufacturing to join our team in advancing electronic systems across various micromobility platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the EE Design and Manufacturing teams to create and implement effective EE module test procedures, equipment, and data collection strategies to ensure successful new product launches.
Convert electrical design specifications into actionable test strategies and comprehensive test coverage plans.
Design, develop, and validate both automated and manual testing systems for PCBAs, modules, and final products.
Engage with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal teams to standardize test requirements.
Assist in the creation of test fixtures, jigs, and interfaces for consistent and accurate measurements, and select essential components for diverse testing setups.
Provide direct support for production test lines, troubleshooting failures, and conducting root cause analysis.
Foster continuous improvements in test yields, cycle times, and cost effectiveness.
Create detailed test procedures, work instructions, and training materials for operators.
Collaborate with design engineers to enhance testability in the early stages of product development.
Utilize data collection and statistical analysis to assess process capabilities and product reliability.
Assist in failure analysis and corrective actions for returned or malfunctioning products.
Serve as the primary liaison between the electrical design engineering team and contract manufacturers.
Deliver status updates during program meetings and to leadership teams.
