Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:Essential KSAs:• An Associate's degree (A. A.) or its equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, combined with over ten years of relevant experience and/or training, or twelve years of an equivalent mix of education and experience.• Must exhibit advanced electronic and/or mechanical skills.• Capable of interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence; able to effectively communicate before groups of customers or employees; skilled in performing calculations involving proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; and applying concepts from basic algebra, physics, and geometry. Must possess the ability to understand and execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form while tackling problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations. Desirable KSAs:• Team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute repairs on intricate electronic and mechanical equipment at the component level.

• Engage in complex new product development initiatives.

• Liaise with customers and travel to their sites as necessary.

• Design fixtures and conduct warranty and root-cause analyses.

• Review standard repair processes and implement cycle time enhancements.

• Establish standards and methodologies for testing procedures.

• Complete necessary service report documentation.

• Mentor and guide less experienced technicians, providing backup for the department when needed.

• Actively participate in the ATS Culture Initiative, continuously improving processes and quantitatively monitoring outcomes. Fulfill required quality core classes and apply the skills and techniques learned. Uphold the Core Values in the workplace and adhere to safety protocols set by the company and customers.
