Join our dynamic team at Kantox as a Senior Elixir Software Engineer in beautiful Barcelona! As a key player in our software engineering team, you'll contribute to our innovative platform, primarily built on Ruby on Rails, while also leveraging Elixir and Elixir/Phoenix.

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability and performance of our codebase, addressing application issues proactively.
- Design, implement, and test new features while managing maintenance and upgrades.
- Conduct code reviews to enhance the skills of your peers, ensuring efficient and effective requirements.
- Participate in support rotations, providing timely assistance to colleagues.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements, engage in technical discussions, and maintain thorough documentation.
Your Profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Senior-level engineer proficient in Elixir.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to build consensus while being open to feedback.
- Strong advocate for automated testing, with a solid understanding of test-driven development.
- Adept at breaking down complex features into manageable tasks for agile sprints.
- Committed to continuous improvement and self-driven with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of balancing short-term tasks with long-term sustainability.
- A passion for technology and engagement with fellow engineers to drive excellence.
- A University degree in Computer Science (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
