Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.10+ years of experience in embedded software development with a concentration on networking hardware. Demonstrated experience in developing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switches. In-depth technical knowledge of IGMP, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), and Multicast Routing. Expertise in Linux embedded operating systems, including kernel development and driver optimization. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and bash/sh. Understanding of embedded circuit design and PCB schematics, particularly with ARM/x86 processors and networking chipsets. Experience with Audio/Video (A/V) libraries related to 4K video distribution over IP. Active contributor to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automated network testing.

  • Develop and optimize networking protocols such as IGMP, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), and advanced multicast routing strategies tailored for high-bandwidth video distribution.
  • Oversee board bring-up activities and collaborate with hardware teams to validate and integrate innovative networking product designs.
  • Enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of network resources, with a strong emphasis on low-latency switching and routing.
  • Mentor software team members through design discussions and comprehensive code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
