What’s happening at Vay

Why this role is exciting
At Vay, our vehicles are remotely operated in real time from our Driving Centers in Berlin and Las Vegas, a feat achieved by only a few companies globally on public roads. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop the safety-critical software stack that directly manages vehicle functions. The code you craft will significantly influence vehicle safety and reliability during real-world operations.
Your Responsibilities
You will create the safety-critical firmware enabling real vehicles to be operated remotely on public roads. Your contributions will directly affect how a car accelerates, steers, brakes, monitors itself for faults, and responds in emergencies. You will be:
- Designing, implementing, and verifying embedded software for the safe remote operation of vehicles on public roads.
