Since launching our long-range drone platform in Rwanda in 2016, we have enabled rapid, dependable delivery of critical medical supplies to remote areas, boasting a fixed-wing design that can travel over 200 km on a single charge. Our drones have already made a significant impact, helping new mothers in Rwanda and delivering antivenom to snake bite victims in Ghana, serving millions by delivering thousands of life-saving products daily.
The Field Systems Engineering (FSE) team operates at the nexus of Engineering and Operations. We ensure that our designs are safe, robust, and reliable because lives depend on them. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer within the FSE team, you will be instrumental in enhancing the performance and reliability of our long-range drone systems.
In this role, you will collaborate with various cross-functional engineers and flight operators to identify challenges in how our software supports daily operations for our Platform 1 vehicle deployed globally. You will lead investigations into anomalies, establish data-driven requirements, and spearhead execution of improvement projects aimed at increasing system reliability and ease of maintenance.
