Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities outlined below encompass essential functions of this role. Depending on business needs, this role may involve a combination of some or all of the following responsibilities. Duties and activities may evolve or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Collaborate with physicists and across electrical, software, and opto-mechanical engineering domains to provide optimal embedded system solutions for quantum applications.
- Design testable, high-performance, and scalable RTL using SpinalHDL.
- Engage in practical tuning and troubleshooting in laboratory and testing environments.
- Architect processing chains accompanied by analytical models to ensure compliance with critical design specifications.
- Adopt modern software engineering best practices to guarantee robustness, maintainability, and enhance collaboration. This includes utilizing revision control, CI pipelines, static analysis tools, and automated build processes.
- Participate in design, code, and data reviews.
