Collaborate with software engineering, implementation, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and governance practices. Administer, maintain, and monitor database systems to uphold availability, integrity, recoverability, and secure access in compliance with disaster recovery and business continuity best practices. Implement source control and DevOps methodologies (e.g., GitHub, ADO, etc.) for database change management, CI/CD automation, and deployment of database alterations. Mentor junior engineers in SQL development, reporting, analytics, and performance tuning best practices. Establish and enforce data governance standards for security, compliance, and consistency across all environments. Qualifications Over 10 years of experience in database engineering, architecture, or administration, particularly with production-grade SQL Server environments. Demonstrated experience in designing and automating ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Deep expertise in database performance tuning, optimization, and maintenance. Solid understanding of data governance standards and best practices. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
