About the Team
Our Selection Product Team is integral to our inventory intelligence, guiding the decision-making process around our purchasing and sales strategies. As part of the Digital Supply Networks organization, we develop tools that empower our merchandising team to deliver the right products to our clients at the right time. The Selection Product Team encompasses our Product Catalog, Buying Team, and Selling (Product Lifecycle Management) Team. Together, we manage over $100 million in inventory investments, generating more than $1.3 billion in annual revenue. We collaborate closely with merchandising, finance, and data science to create innovative tools that blend retail best practices with data science, optimizing our inventory management in a profitable manner while ensuring a delightful client experience.
About the Role
The Merchandising Engineering team at Stitch Fix is on the lookout for a compassionate, insightful, and people-focused Senior Engineering Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead and nurture high-performing engineering teams, overseeing and enhancing the entire procurement journey, from product discovery through buying decisions to final purchase orders and physical receipt in our warehouses.
Your responsibilities will include mentoring and developing engineers, establishing clear technical and execution standards, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning. Our team creates platforms and tools that empower buyers, planners, pricing, and product lifecycle partners, with success measured by the tangible business impact we generate.
