As a Senior Engineering Program Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of next-generation cUAS technology from conception through production, managing programs that attract the attention of senior executives. Your leadership and teamwork with product managers, engineers, designers, and supply chain professionals are crucial for the success of our initiatives and for ensuring public safety for years to come.
This role focuses on program planning, risk management, and executing across the complete hardware development cycle. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in managing complex electromechanical programs, effectively addressing the challenges posed by hardware development in resource-limited settings, and guiding teams to deliver high-quality, durable products suited for diverse operational environments.
What You'll Do:
- Lead hardware programs from inception to mass production, managing the master schedule and ensuring all milestones are achieved throughout each phase (EVT, DVT, PVT).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and supply chain professionals to prioritize tasks and achieve unified program results.
- Proactively identify and address program risks, ranging from long-lead component challenges to supplier qualification issues, before they impact schedules or budgets.
- Oversee program budget management encompassing NRE, tooling, and production costs, ensuring alignment between engineering efforts and business commitments.
- Engage regularly with domestic and international stakeholders, including ODM/CM partners, to guarantee manufacturing readiness and product quality.
