Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.4+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or a related field, with a focus on technology (e.g., Investment Banking, Management Consulting); familiarity with SaaS and consumption models is advantageous. Experience supporting G&A functions is a plus. Proven ability to build financial models independently and develop actionable insights. Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills. Understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics.

Join Databricks, a leader in data analytics, as a Senior Financial Analyst within our General & Administration Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team. This pivotal role involves partnering with various departments to provide financial insights and guidance that drive investment decisions and fuel business growth.

You will report to the Senior Finance Manager and be instrumental in enhancing forecast accuracy, refining corporate reporting, and collaborating with IT, People, and Legal teams. Your expertise will help ensure the organization meets its goals through data-driven financial modeling and analysis.

Your Impact:

  • Act as a primary finance partner to leaders in IT, People, and Legal, facilitating accurate forecasts.
  • Take ownership of budget versus actual variance analysis and relevant reporting.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess functional costs and their cross-functional impacts.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on accruals and assist in the month-end close process.
  • Manage strategic projects and ad hoc requests to empower senior leaders in decision-making.
  • Contribute to the company's long-range strategic planning initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives for process and system improvements to support ongoing growth.
