Position Summary

As a pivotal member of our finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing is responsible for strategically directing financial planning and analysis related to product costs, inventory management, and supply chain operations. This role will provide essential insights that drive improvements in our financial performance, while also overseeing significant accounting functions. We seek a detail-oriented professional who thrives in our fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with finance, business operations, and manufacturing teams to establish financial performance metrics concerning product costs, inventory, and supply chain management.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and modeling of product costs, inventory levels, supply, and purchasing commitments to inform forecasts and optimize manufacturing decisions.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes related to manufacturing and fixed assets, while establishing and monitoring annual material and process cost standards and budgets.
  • Coordinate the preparation and analysis of reports tracking cost variances, inventory adjustments, and other significant cost items such as scrap and obsolete inventory, while providing actionable insights to management and auditors.
  • Perform complex accounting analyses, prepare and post journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and generate various reports.
  • Oversee fixed asset data, including construction in progress and manufacturing start-up costs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and develop relevant ad hoc analyses related to manufacturing or supply chain, while performing other duties as necessary.
