Basic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of hands-on experience in experimental flight testing. Proficient in drafting test plans, test cards, and conducting test hazard analyses, with experience as a test director during flight missions. Expertise in making aeronautical VHF radio communications. Proven ability to conduct system-level risk assessments. Preferred QualificationsGraduate of a recognized flight test school (SETP). Advanced degree in engineering or a scientific discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Additional certifications or qualifications related to flight testing.

As a Senior Flight Test Engineer, you will join our Flight Test and Integration team, which plays a crucial role in our installation and testing initiatives. This team ensures the optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and flight control systems on our aircraft and oversees all ground and flight test operations. Our team comprises skilled professionals experienced in developing both experimental and certification products.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will validate the functionality and performance of modified flight control systems within a remotely operated autoflight system. You will oversee the complete development process, from lab testing to vehicle implementation, ensuring compliance with all test requirements. Collaborating with various teams, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the vehicle's capabilities and often serve as the lead engineer and test director during flight campaigns.
