Spear AI is on the lookout for a talented Senior Forward Deployed Full-Stack Engineer to spearhead the development of an innovative data management and artificial intelligence platform tailored for enhancing maritime domain awareness.
In this role, you will be immersed in on-site collaboration with our clients, engaging in coding, system integration, and tackling complex challenges directly in the field. You will embody the dual roles of an engineer and a technical consultant, taking full responsibility for ensuring mission success. An active U. S. Secret clearance is a prerequisite for this position.

Spear AI develops advanced sonobuoy sensors that gather edge data in marine environments. We also collaborate with the U. S. Navy to process SONAR data, allowing you the chance to contribute to real-world projects that directly enhance warfighter capabilities and mission outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our dynamic team, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including:
Developing application components and user interfaces.
Implementing both historical and real-time data feeds utilizing WebGPU.
Designing and developing data models with Postgres and Apache Iceberg.
Modifying real-time data pipelines with MQTT and Redpanda.
Updating offline data pipelines using Dagster for batch processing.
Integrating machine learning models and algorithms into applications.
Enhancing local development and CI/CD processes using modern tools and GitHub Actions.
