Key ResponsibilitiesLead the comprehensive technical execution of frontend projects within the platform engineering team, from defining requirements and drafting technical design proposals to implementation, testing, and deploying to production. Translate departmental goals and team objectives into scalable frontend architectural decisions, weighing speed against quality and maintainability. Make significant contributions to the ongoing development of our internal developer portal and other user interface applications, enhancing shared libraries, platform capabilities, and system design. Effectively operate in ambiguous problem spaces, identifying risks, validating assumptions, and proactively mitigating solutions to ensure timely delivery. Maintain the long-term integrity of the codebase by minimizing technical debt, enhancing test coverage, and establishing high standards for code quality and performance. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure alignment on trade-offs, API contracts, and non-functional requirements, including performance, reliability, and security. Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues proactively, contributing to observability, incident response, and post-mortem analyses that bolster our systems over time. Provide mentorship and support to fellow engineers through thoughtful guidance and knowledge sharing.
