The Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend at Read AI, your work will directly influence how users engage with our platform. This pivotal role is essential for enhancing the user experience at Read through impactful features and improvements. Utilizing Typescript and React, you will contribute to our reporting application, billing system, and native note-taking apps (Zoom, Meet, and Teams), as well as Read’s browser extensions.
In this position, you will play a key role in both developing new features and guiding the direction of our product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Translate product specifications and visual designs from Figma into new features.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, maintainable APIs.
Design and develop responsive, accessible user interfaces that function seamlessly on various devices and browsers.
Advocate for and implement best practices in frontend development, focusing on code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
Offer insightful feedback to the product team throughout the development lifecycle.
Take ownership of specific product workstreams, driving them forward to make a notable impact on Read's future.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering (preferred) with 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated experience in frontend development, with in-depth knowledge of Typescript and React.
Strong grasp of modern web development practices and responsive design principles.
