Role Overview

The Senior Full Stack Engineer works within a close-knit technical team that includes developers, product designers, and management. Collaboration extends to the broader Distilled Engineering Team, bringing in additional expertise for building strong software solutions. This position offers autonomy and the chance to influence both the direction and execution of projects. Eskimo values engineers who care deeply about user experience and want to shape the product.

This is a remote-first role open to candidates based in Ireland.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement solutions for complex challenges across both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Apply domain knowledge and focus on how features impact end users.
  • Work independently while mentoring junior developers.
  • Introduce new technologies, including AI and libraries, to improve efficiency.
  • Write reusable code and address technical debt proactively.
  • Manage multiple projects at once, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Explore ways generative AI can support product development.
  • Keep the codebase clean, scalable, and secure.
  • Promote coding standards within the team.
  • Stay current with new technologies and software development practices.
