About the job
Join us at our vibrant Amsterdam office or London office
At Stacks, we embrace an office-first culture, believing that the best products emerge when we collaborate in person.
About Stacks
Stacks is revolutionizing how finance teams manage one of their most essential tasks: the monthly close. For mid to large enterprises, this process can be labor-intensive and distracts finance teams from engaging in strategic initiatives. We recognize the need for change.
Our ambitious vision harnesses AI to transform the monthly close into a seamless experience—achieving accuracy and detail on the first day of every month with just a click. By reclaiming valuable time for finance teams, we empower them to focus on strategic work that propels their companies forward.
Our diverse team consists of finance, product, and tech experts from leading companies like Uber, Plaid, Miro, Mollie, and Bunq, all driven to innovate a groundbreaking solution. Nestled in the heart of Amsterdam, our office boasts stunning views of the iconic canals. Supported by top VCs and executives from Stripe, Plaid, and OpenAI, we are poised to redefine the future of finance.
About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Stacks, you will be a software engineer with a customer-centric, product-focused mindset. Your focus is on outcomes and problem-solving, continuously iterating to develop elegant solutions. Working within a small, autonomous team, you will assume multiple roles and significantly influence the product's direction.
To excel in this role, you should be proficient across the stack, although we appreciate that individuals have unique strengths. We particularly seek a full-stack engineer with a strong emphasis on front-end development.
Responsibilities
While we are open to various programming languages and tools, familiarity with our current technology stack is advantageous given our fast-paced environment. Our product and technology continuously evolve, so adaptability and a willingness to learn are crucial. Here’s an overview of our current stack:
Next.js and React for front-end application development.
TypeScript for both front-end and back-end coding.
Protobuf for effective data serialization.
