Hello! I’m Aike, co-founder & CTO of Kombo. We are on the lookout for innovative Senior Product Engineers who are eager to tackle complex customer challenges within our product offering. At Kombo, you will engage directly with customers to understand their needs, design solutions, develop them, and ensure they deliver the desired impact.

Our Vision at Kombo
We are creating a robust infrastructure platform designed specifically for HR tech products. Our founding team, composed entirely of engineers, thrives on solving intricate technical challenges. This passion has led us to develop vital infrastructure for HR tech providers.
We’ve successfully built a unified API, a powerful data synchronization engine, an observability platform, and an integrated UI for setup and configuration. We empower other software companies to offer prebuilt integrations with HR, ATS, LMS, and Payroll systems, alleviating the burden of developing and managing countless integrations. Having achieved product-market fit about 1.5 years ago, we are now witnessing remarkable growth, with our annual recurring revenue nearing €10M and our services supporting over 15,000 companies, synchronizing data for more than 250 million individuals worldwide. We are establishing a new standard for how companies build products atop complex enterprise systems. Recently, we proudly closed a €25M Series A funding round .
Role Overview and Work Culture
In our early days, the co-founders and I engaged directly with customers, handled support, understood their pain points, and designed features based on their feedback. We found this approach more fulfilling than traditional roles where engineers work off predefined tickets without customer interaction. As we bring our first engineers on board, we wish to maintain this ethos. We embrace what we call "Product Engineering", where you will comprehensively address customer challenges, participate in calls (or visit customers), design and implement solutions from start to finish, and support the transition to successful user adoption.
