Key ResponsibilitiesLead the creation, development, implementation, and upkeep of scalable, high-availability web applications utilizing Ruby on Rails for agent-facing and carrier-facing systems. Contribute to architectural strategies that foster platform scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Develop and uphold intuitive, high-performance front-end experiences using contemporary JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular), along with HTML and CSS. Design, optimize, and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), employing ORM frameworks and performance best practices. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to establish requirements and deliver valuable features. Mentor and guide fellow engineers through code reviews, technical support, and knowledge sharing. Promote best practices in code quality, testing, security, observability, and system scalability. Construct and maintain cloud infrastructure and services using AWS, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness. Enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, safety, and developer experience. Engage actively in agile ceremonies and work effectively in a dynamic, iterative environment. What We Seek6–10 years of hands-on experience in building production applications with Ruby on Rails. Strong practical experience in designing and scaling complex, distributed web systems. Extensive experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular). Familiarity with Node.js for supporting services, tooling, or integrations. Deep expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling best practices. Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
