About the Role
We are in search of a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic and efficient engineering team at latamcent. This position is crucial as we operate within a compact team where agility and precision are paramount. We value engineers who are self-sufficient, take initiative, and apply their craft with excellence.
Java proficiency is a must, along with strong frontend skills, particularly in TypeScript. Familiarity with Angular is beneficial but not obligatory.
The engineering team is primarily situated in Europe, with leadership operating in U. S. Mountain and Central time zones. The selected candidate should ensure significant overlap in working hours with these regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support backend services predominantly using Java
- Engage in frontend development leveraging TypeScript and contemporary frameworks
- Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle from design to deployment
- Quickly diagnose and fix production issues, especially during U. S. business hours
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership across Europe and the U. S.
- Involve in code reviews and uphold high engineering standards
- Partake in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
- Work autonomously within a small team of 4 engineers
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering
- Deep expertise in Java programming
- Strong frontend development experience with TypeScript
- Comprehensive experience across the full software stack
- Proven ability to work effectively in small, fast-paced teams
- Ownership mentality with demonstrated success in independently resolving production issues
- Experience delivering high-quality software under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills
- Fluent in English (C1 or C2 level)

- U. S. Mountain Time
- U. S. Central Time
- European time zones
