The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a skilled and driven Senior Software Engineer to become a vital part of our pioneering engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and refining our DataOps platform. This hands-on position will involve tackling intricate challenges and spearheading innovation in data operations management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new features to fruition while ensuring our platform's performance and scalability. What You'll Do
Design & Develop: Create, develop, and uphold scalable and dependable code for Matia’s DataOps platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Lead Features: Take charge in the development of essential features and services from inception to completion with minimal guidance.
Mentor & Lead: Guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and best practices while providing technical direction across projects.
Drive Improvement: Advocate for continuous enhancement efforts to ensure our systems remain adaptable to changing business demands.
Troubleshoot & Optimize: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production settings.
Collaborate: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, etc.) to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
What We're Looking For
We are searching for a highly skilled, hands-on builder and technical leader who can independently drive innovation and make impactful contributions to complex systems.
Must-Haves:
- Experience in full-stack development with proficiency in multiple programming languages.
- Strong understanding of database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
