Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Generative Spacecraft Engineer, you will take ownership of significant spacecraft components and facilitate communication between mechanical and electrical subsystems. Your role will encompass leading the systems engineering efforts throughout the entire spacecraft life-cycle. Specific responsibilities include:Design and support spacecraft mechanical and electrical subsystems, including structures, harnessing, propulsion, avionics integration, and thermal management. Create interface control documents (ICDs), system block diagrams, and subsystem level requirements. Assist with cable routing layouts and power distribution architectures. Contribute to the selection and qualification of hardware components (e.g., connectors, fasteners, PCBs, motors, actuators). Support build and integration efforts, including assembly procedures, test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC), and anomaly resolution. Collaborate with other disciplines (GNC, power, software, mission design) to ensure the spacecraft integrates successfully.
