Responsibilities:
- Engage in the design and implementation of flight control algorithms for eVTOL aircraft.
- Collaborate across functions to align GNC requirements with overarching system needs.
- Advise leadership on decisions influenced by GNC systems.
- Devise innovative approaches for efficient verification of complex systems and software.
- Create simulations to rigorously verify and validate system specifications.
- Conduct trade studies to guide aircraft design and system architecture.
- Team up with the Flight Test department to develop tests for evaluating vehicle capabilities safely.
- Enhance the fidelity and functionality of our simulation models for vehicles and environments.
- Analyze flight data from full-scale and subscale tests to refine our models.
- Draft software requirements and test cases to inform GNC software design.
- Work with Systems Engineering to accurately decompose higher-level requirements.
- Collaborate with Systems Safety and Systems Engineering to identify and rectify any deficiencies in the Flight Control System.
