Qualifications
As a Senior Ground Software Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:Designing, developing, and implementing ground software for satellite communication, control, and telemetry systems. Supporting spacecraft commissioning during launch and early operations while ensuring ground systems maintain functionality during critical phases. Overseeing ground software solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial design to deployment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish baseline product requirements and develop technical roadmaps. Integrating third-party tools and custom software to automate satellite operations, tracking, and data processing. Monitoring and enhancing system scalability, redundancy, and failover strategies for ground software and associated systems.
