Quantum Systems GmbH is looking for a (Senior) Group Accountant – M&A Integration Specialist to lead the operational side of post-merger integrations. This position sits in Gilching, Bayern, Germany, and focuses on bringing newly acquired companies into the Group’s accounting and financial structure. The role turns high-level integration strategies into daily processes, making sure each transition is smooth and effective.
Main Responsibilities
Post-Merger Integration Execution
- Carry out the post-merger integration (PMI) roadmap, following established guidelines from the M&A team.
- Coordinate daily integration activities for new acquisitions.
- Act as the main contact for local finance teams during integration.
- Guide new entities through onboarding into Group accounting, reporting, and consolidation routines.
Operational Accounting Coordination
- Align local accounting practices with Group standards and stabilize ongoing operations.
- Monitor and ensure timely, accurate financial data delivery from all entities.
- Serve as the connection point between local entities and the Group Accounting/Consolidation team.
- Identify and resolve operational accounting issues that impact reporting and closing.
Intercompany and Financial Flow Management
- Set up intercompany agreements and structures according to defined models.
- Oversee the execution of intercompany transactions, including goods, services, and cash flows.
- Improve and manage reconciliation processes between entities.
- Work closely with Tax, Controlling, and Operations to maintain compliance and consistency.
Systems and Process Integration
- Support the integration of new entities into the ERP and finance systems.
