Renowned organizations, including Cursor, Ashby, and Sanity, trust us to streamline customer interactions across platforms like Slack, Discord, email, and in-product communications, all while enhancing workflows with cutting-edge AI technology.
As a close-knit team with offices in San Francisco and London, you will play a pivotal role in owning our organic discovery channels and optimizing technical web journeys.

AI is reshaping how organizations engage with their customers, and buyers are discovering and evaluating tools at an unprecedented pace, from traditional search updates to innovative AI engines, Reddit, developer communities, and beyond.
Joining us means becoming one of the first members of a new go-to-market (GTM) team we are establishing from the ground up. Our vision is to create a compact, technical, and high-output team that approaches marketing as a product: data-driven, iterative, and AI-native.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance Plain’s visibility across AI search platforms and traditional search, influencing how our buyers learn about our solutions. Your efforts will directly impact our self-serve signups and sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to optimize site structure, content architecture, landing pages, and conversion pathways.
- Establish the editorial calendar, define strategic topics based on AEO/SEO data, and manage the content production cycle.
- Develop a structured testing framework for organic discovery and conversion optimization, including hypotheses, tests, outcomes, and insights.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or technical content marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment targeting a technical audience.
- In-depth expertise in SEO with a strong perspective on AI’s impact on search (AEO, GEO, AI Insights).
- Practical experience with web analytics and experimentation tools such as PostHog, GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.
- A robust analytical mindset, comfortable building funnel models, conducting experiments, and linking content efforts to pipeline results.
- Demonstrated ability to execute efficiently; a strong preference for action over lengthy processes.
