Qualifications:Expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, failure investigations, and implementing corrective actions for non-conforming Starshield production hardware. Ability to utilize design schematics, test equipment, and inspection processes to diagnose failure mechanisms. Strong sense of ownership in managing suspect or confirmed non-conforming products, facilitating root cause investigations, and providing regular updates to technicians, production leadership, and engineering teams to support quarantine and rework efforts. Data-driven approach to driving corrective actions for products failing to meet design specifications by analyzing yield and defect trends to identify common failure modes. Collaboration with test engineers to maintain a continuous feedback loop, enhancing test assets to minimize false failures and maximize test coverage. Maximizing ROI on testing and inspection processes by applying lean methodologies that ensure objective criteria are met, thus consistently achieving reliability goals. Identifying opportunities for electrical design and manufacturing improvements throughout new product development cycles, enhancing final yield through best practices and establishing repeatable process controls.

Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starshield)

As a Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer for Starshield, your expertise will be vital in ensuring the reliability and performance of our satellites. You will engage in identifying, analyzing, and resolving hardware failures, thereby enhancing the durability and lifespan of our PCBAs. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, and supply chain, to elevate the overall reliability of Starshield hardware.
