About the Role:
The Senior Incident Manager is at the forefront of leading DoubleVerify’s Major Incident Management (MIM) program, overseeing the complete lifecycle of critical incidents, from detection and response to business impact assessment, communication, and post-incident enhancements. This pivotal role demands an individual contributor who will spearhead structured, cross-functional incident responses across Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Executive teams. The position requires a blend of technical acumen and sound business judgment to mitigate customer impact, safeguard revenue, and facilitate decisive actions during high-stakes situations.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the single point of accountability for Sev1–Sev3 incidents.
  • Facilitate real-time decision-making, escalation, and coordination among teams.
  • Manage incident communications, delivering timely updates to executives and stakeholders.
  • Translate technical challenges into understandable business impacts.
  • Own and refine the Major Incident Management process.
  • Lead post-incident reviews, ensuring follow-through on identified actions.
  • Monitor key metrics (e.g., MTTR, incident trends) and drive continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Legal teams on client communications when necessary.
  • Align incident response efforts with business priorities, emphasizing customer and revenue impact.
  • Enhance tooling, automation, and workflows for incident management.

 

What We’re Looking For:
