Role overview
The Senior Industrial Engineer will join the Industrial Engineering group within the Manufacturing Technology team. This group works closely with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Equipment Design, aiming to improve how products, materials, and people move through Archer's manufacturing systems.
The position centers on building and maintaining simulation models of the factory, analyzing production flows, and supporting decisions related to factory design. The main objective is to validate manufacturing strategies using data before implementing changes on the production floor, helping Archer scale production efficiently as the company grows.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update simulation models to assess production throughput, capacity, and scaling plans.
- Model the end-to-end manufacturing process, including:
- Receiving and inventory staging
- Production operations
- Quality assurance processes
