As a Senior IT Systems Security Analyst, you will take charge of an extensive array of security responsibilities. Your role will encompass the daily administration of network security devices and the oversight of critical technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, data loss prevention, antivirus solutions, anti-spam and antispyware measures, as well as security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Key IT Security tools include: Web Content Filtering (URL Filtering), Web Application and Malware Protection, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), SSL Decryption, Email Security, Advanced Threat Management (APT), Vulnerability Scanning & Remediation, Identity Management, Data Encryption, Global DNS, Security Incident Management (SIM), Public Key Infrastructure, Web Application Firewall / Proxy, IT Security Forensics, Password Vaulting, and Risk Assessment.
Your responsibilities will also include creating and updating procedural documentation, managing intrusion detection and perimeter security devices, assisting with vulnerability management, participating in the design and implementation of new security controls, following up on remediation of vulnerabilities, investigating incident reports, executing effective security measures, managing and responding to information security audits, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
Additionally, you will engage in an on-call rotation with your department.
