Senior Java Developer

The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work either from our office or on-site at client locations. In this initial assignment, the chosen individual will collaborate closely with project leaders and supervise the project team.Key Responsibilities: Design and architecture of software components and building blocks; Evaluation and review of existing system architecture; Coordination of technical architecture implementation; Development of functionalities, including testing, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting; Conduct data analysis and create data models; Establish technical communication between project leaders and developers; Ensure the consistency of AV Media metadata with the respective media files; Analyze and index AV Media metadata files; Prepare metadata information for media file dissemination and publication. Qualifications: A university degree in IT with a minimum of 11 years of professional IT experience; Strong expertise in Java/J2EE; Advanced knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL; Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Solr); Proficiency in tools such as CDI, JPA, Reflection, and Spring (MVC, Container, Scheduler, or QUARTZ Scheduler); Understanding of application design and SOA architecture as well as interoperability technologies; Experience with modeling tools and languages (e.g., UML); Proficient in Spring Security, Tomcat, Jira, and jQuery; Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., RUP, Agile); Competence in JSON/XML and HTML; Familiarity with middleware infrastructure and web servers, particularly WebLogic; Knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices will be considered an asset; Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
