Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a closely related discipline.8+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models specifically for computer vision or perception applications. Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or JAX, with hands-on experience in training models like VLMs, ViTs, and/or CNNs. Familiarity with classical computer vision techniques (e.g., OpenCV) is essential. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to lead technical initiatives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. Understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and test automation. Preferred experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time perception applications. Knowledge of MLOps practices (e.g., model versioning, CI/CD for ML) is advantageous. Experience with camera geometry, 3D reconstruction, or GPU programming (e.g., CUDA, Triton) is a plus.

This pivotal role focuses on spearheading the design and implementation of cutting-edge computer vision and perception systems for our next-generation autonomous platforms.

We seek an experienced engineer with profound technical knowledge, sound engineering judgment, and a strong history of delivering production-ready machine learning systems in challenging real-world scenarios. The ideal candidate will be a mature, self-motivated contributor capable of influencing technical decisions, mentoring peers, and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Lead the architecture and development of machine learning systems tailored for computer vision and perception tasks.
  • Enhance models for optimal real-time performance on embedded and edge computing platforms.
  • Create and maintain resilient perception pipelines that integrate data from cameras and various sensors.
  • Assess and apply state-of-the-art methodologies in deep learning, object detection, and visual tracking.
  • Guide technical decisions and offer insights on architecture, tools, and best practices within the team.
  • Design and conduct experiments, including simulations and real-world field tests, to validate model performance.
  • Manage and enhance datasets, pipelines, and tools to facilitate efficient model training and deployment.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including robotics, systems, and software engineers, to deliver production-ready solutions.
