What You’ll DoConduct research and develop innovative methodologies for multi-sensor fusion and multi-target tracking. Design probabilistic models and frameworks for state estimation across various sensing modalities, including radar, RF, and optical. Create and assess algorithms such as Kalman filters (EKF/UKF), particle filters, Bayesian filters, and multi-hypothesis tracking. Perform simulation studies and benchmark performance under diverse operational conditions and noise environments. Analyze real-world datasets for model validation, uncertainty quantification, and robustness enhancement. Collaborate closely with software engineers to transition validated algorithms into scalable, production-ready systems. Document technical findings and contribute to intellectual property development as applicable. Stay abreast of advancements in tracking, estimation theory, probabilistic modeling, and machine learning research. What You BringA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field—alternatively, equivalent hands-on experience in developing ML systems in production.8+ years of experience in the development and deployment of machine learning systems in practical applications.
